Welcome to the Resonate! Yemen website…

We would like to thank all the participants who made this initiative a huge success. After three weeks of aggressive campaigning for the initiative, The Resonate! Yemen report has been published and is now ready for distribution.

Thanks to everyone who participated in spreading the message about the initiative, we estimate that we were able to advertise the initiative to around 7,000 Yemeni youth using facebook and email lists. On the ground, we reached to and acquired the endorsement of 5 youth organizations from around Yemen. Finally we had the fortune of the support of the media and were able to publish our press release in 10 news sites and three newspapers.

We couldn’t have done this without the help of all the volunteers who helped with this initiative and the participants who Resonated their voice to the world!

The report was completed on Monday January 25th and was delivered to The Yemen Forum at Chatham House, a center for international studies in London, the US Embassy in Yemen, the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs, as well as a number of local and international NGO’s and journalists/researchers interested in Yemen. The report was also sent to officials in the Yemeni government who showed their interest and support to this initiative.

We encourage youth everywhere to distribute the report to everyone they know and to any organizations who could be interested in this report. Please help in making everyone aware of the voice of Yemeni youth.
